Qualifications

• Graduation from Registered Nurse Program; BSN preferred (if not upon hire, will obtain within 5 years preferred)
• 1 year clinical experience in an acute care setting preferred
• Experience in ortho and stroke patient populations preferred
• California Registered Nurse License; Certification in clinical specialty or management desired
• Surgery: BLS, ACLS; PACU/SDS/GI Lab: BLS, ACLS, PALS; Cardiac/Cath Lab: BLS, ACLS

Responsibilities

• Support Chief Nursing Officer in leading patient care teams
• Plan and deliver nursing care per the nursing process and education plan
• Precept and validate competency of new hires and procedures
• Coordinate with team, departments and leaders to improve unit services and outcomes
• Ensure compliance with CMS Conditions of Participation and other regulations
