Qualifications

• Graduation from Registered Nurse Program.
• BSN preferred (if not upon hire, will obtain within 5 years preferred).
• 1 year clinical experience in an acute care setting preferred.
• For Cardiac Cath Lab Nurses: 1 year nursing experience in acute care settings and 1 year+ IR/EP/Cardiac Cath Lab experience preferred.
• For 6th Floor Med/Surg: Two years’ experience with Orthopedic and Med/Surg nursing preferred; certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist charge nurse with planning delivery of patient care for the shift.
• Precepting and competency validating new hires and teaching nursing students.
• Delegating to other RNs, LVNs, CNAs.
• Coordinating assigned team; communicating expectations and improvements.
