Job summary

Saint Joseph Health System in Mishawaka, IN is hiring a Registered Nurse for a full-time 12-hour night shift. The RN will implement and document the nursing process and act as a patient advocate in a dynamic NICU environment.

New grads are welcome; Indiana RN license required with CPR on hire or within 60 days. Eligible for benefits starting day one, with a generous PTO plan and NO mandatory overtime.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an accredited RN program.
• Licensure: RN Indiana License; CPR certification on hire or within 60 days.
• Experience: New Grads are welcome; Preferred 6+ months nursing experience in NICU.

Responsibilities

• Implement, direct, communicate, and document the nursing process per standards of care and Indiana Nurse Practice Act.
• Advocate for patients, ensuring a safe environment for patients, visitors, and colleagues.
• Provide patient-centered care and collaborate with the care team.

About the job:

As a Registered Nurse at Saint Joseph Health System you are responsible for implementing, directing, communicating, and documenting the nursing process in accordance with current established standards of care and the Indiana Nurse Practice Act. Our RNs are patient advocates who provide a safe environment for patients, visitors, and colleagues.

Requirements:

• Education:Graduate of an accredited RN program.

**Will be required to work Friday and Saturday nights every third weekend and also work every other holiday.
