Job summary

Saint Joseph Health System is seeking a Registered Nurse for a full-time, 12-hour night shift. The RN will implement, direct, communicate and document the nursing process in line with standards and the Indiana Nurse Practice Act, providing patient advocacy and a safe environment for all.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an accredited RN program.
• Licensure: RN Indiana License. CPR certification on hire or within 60 days.
• Experience: New Grads welcome; NICU experience preferred (6+ months).
• Schedule: Friday and Saturday night shifts every third weekend; alternating holidays.

Responsibilities

• Implement, direct, communicate and document the nursing process per care standards and Indiana Nurse Practice Act.
• Provide safe environment and advocate for patients, visitors and staff.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to deliver high-quality care.

About The Job

As a Registered Nurse at Saint Joseph Health System you are responsible for implementing, directing, communicating, and documenting the nursing process in accordance with current established standards of care and the Indiana Nurse Practice Act. Our RNs are patient advocates who provide a safe environment for patients, visitors, and colleagues.

Requirements

• Experience: New Grads are welcome, Preferred 6+ months Nursing Experience in the NICU
• Will be required to work Friday and Saturday nights every third weekend and also work every other holiday.
