Job summary

Saint Joseph Health System, Mishawaka, IN, is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Maternal Child Float. The role will involve floating between Pediatrics, Mother Baby and the NICU, delivering nursing care and documenting in accordance with standards and the Indiana Nurse Practice Act.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN program.
• RN Indiana License required; CPR certification on hire or within 60 days.
• Experience: 1+ years in Pediatrics, Mother Baby or NICU preferred; new grads considered.

• Implement, direct, communicate and document the nursing process per standards and the Indiana Nurse Practice Act.
• Provide a safe environment for patients, visitors and colleagues.

About the job:

As a Registered Nurse at Saint Joseph Health System you are responsible for implementing, directing, communicating, and documenting the nursing process in accordance with current established standards of care and the Indiana Nurse Practice Act. Our RNs are patient advocates who provide a safe environment for patients, visitors, and colleagues.

Requirements:

• Education:Graduate of an accredited RN program.

• Licensure:RN Indiana License. CPR certification on hire or able to attain within 60 days.

• Experience:Preferred 1+ years of experience in Peds, Mother Baby or NICU, but will consider new grad RN's

Assigned hours within your shift, starting time, or days of work are subject to change based on departmental and/or organizational needs.
