Job summary

Ascension's Neuro Trauma ICU in Indianapolis, IN is hiring a registered nurse for a full-time day shift. You will collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to implement and monitor patient care plans and ensure smooth discharge planning.

The role requires RN licensure in Indiana, BLS, and ACLS/ALS preferred. You will participate in ongoing professional development and deliver compassionate, patient-centered care in a faith-based health system.

Qualifications

• BLS Provider within 1 month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.
• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date.
• Advanced Life Support preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor patient care plans and communicate patient condition as appropriate.
• Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.

Education

Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
