Job summary

Ascension is seeking a registered nurse to begin a structured residency in Central Indiana at Ascension St. Vincent. You will rotate days or nights as a full- or part-time team member, starting with mentored practice across units.

Responsibilities include completing simulations and skills labs, fulfilling learning requirements, and participating in residency seminars to transition to a professional nurse role.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire required.

What Additional Preferences We're Seeking

• Completion of an ADN or BSN program prior to August 2026
• Registered Nurse with less than 1 year RN experience
