Job summary

Ascension is seeking a Registered Nurse for Seton Medical Center Austin in the Neuro Stroke department. This PRN role covers day shifts and focuses on coordinating high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

You will implement and monitor patient care plans, coordinate interdisciplinary care, and ensure accurate handoffs and timely discharge planning as part of a collaborative healthcare team.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in Texas required prior to hire.
• BLS Provider certification within 30 days of hire.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration

• Required Credential(s):
  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

Education

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
