Job summary

Saint Joseph Health System in Mishawaka, IN is hiring a Registered Nurse for a full-time, 12-hour day shift. The role focuses on delivering evidence-based nursing care and documenting it in accordance with established standards.

Eligible candidates may receive a sign-on bonus of up to $8,700. We offer tuition reimbursement, 100% paid ASN to BSN progression, comprehensive benefits from day one, retirement matching, generous PTO and holidays, and no mandatory overtime.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN program.
• Indiana RN license and CPR certification on hire or within 60 days.
• Prefer 1 year inpatient bedside experience; new grads welcome with L&D or Mother Baby exposure.

Responsibilities

• Implement, direct, communicate, and document the nursing process per standards of care and Indiana Nurse Practice Act.
• Act as patient advocate and maintain a safe environment for patients, visitors, and staff.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to plan, deliver, and evaluate care.

About the job:

As a Registered Nurse at Saint Joseph Health System you are responsible for implementing, directing, communicating, and documenting the nursing process in accordance with current established standards of care and the Indiana Nurse Practice Act. Our RNs are patient advocates who provide a safe environment for patients, visitors, and colleagues.

Requirements:

Education:

Graduate of an accredited RN program.

Licensure:

RN Indiana License. CPR certification on hire or able to attain within 60 days.

Experience:

Prefer RN's with at least 1 year of inpatient bedside experience, but will consider new grad RN's would be great to have L&D or Mother Baby experience
