Job summary

Saint Joseph Health System is hiring a Registered Nurse for a full-time, 12-hour day shift. The role focuses on implementing and directing the nursing process while ensuring patient advocacy and safety in a high-quality care setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN program.
• RN Indiana License.
• CPR certification on hire or within 60 days.
• Prefer 1 year inpatient bedside experience; new grads welcome (L&D/Mother Baby experience preferred).

Responsibilities

• Implement, direct, communicate, and document the nursing process per current standards of care and Indiana Nurse Practice Act.
• Act as patient advocate and maintain a safe environment for patients, visitors, and colleagues.

As a Registered Nurse at Saint Joseph Health System you are responsible for implementing, directing, communicating, and documenting the nursing process in accordance with current established standards of care and the Indiana Nurse Practice Act. Our RNs are patient advocates who provide a safe environment for patients, visitors, and colleagues.

Requirements:

• Education: Graduate of an accredited RN program.
• Licensure: RN Indiana License.
• CPR certification on hire or able to attain within 60 days.
• Experience: Prefer RN's with at least 1 year of inpatient bedside experience, but will consider new grad RN's would be great to have L&D or Mother Baby experience
