Ascension Health in Texas is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care according to hospital policies and procedures.

You will implement care plans, coordinate interdisciplinary care, document physician and nursing orders, and assist with discharge planning as part of a well‑coordinated care team.

Minimum requirements include RN licensure and BLS; neonatal resuscitation certification is preferred. Ascension offers comprehensive benefits and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Licensure / Certification / Registration: RN licensure required; BLS within 1 month of hire; NRP preferred from AAP.
• Education: Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Registered Nurse obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• Certification specializing in Neonatal Resuscitation credentialed from the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) preferred.

Education:

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
