Job summary

Ascension Health in Milwaukee, WI, seeks an experienced Registered Nurse for NICU to provide patient care and coordinate discharge planning on a PRN schedule. You’ll implement and monitor care plans, document patient status, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a high-acuity setting.

Required are Wisconsin RN licensure, BLS within 30 days, and NICU experience or STABLE/NRP preferred. This role supports a compassionate care mission and offers flexible scheduling in a leading nonprofit

Qualifications

• BLS certification within 30 days of hire date.
• Registered Nurse licensure from Wisconsin Board of Nursing.
• STABLE certification preferred.
• Neonatal Resuscitation (NRP) preferred.

How you'll make an impact in this role

What minimum requirements you'll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Licensure from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing OR current home state license if considered multi-state/Compact State.

• Certification specializing in The S.T.A.B.L.E Program preferred.

• Certification specializing in Neonatal Resuscitation credentialed from the American Academy ofPediatrics (AAP) preferred.

Education:

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire required.

Additional Preferences:

• Bachelors in Nursing and at least 1 year of Level 3 NICU experience highly preferred.
