St. Luke’s Health System is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join the Medical/Surgical team at our Meridian Medical Center.

The unit offers dynamic 42-bed surgical care with a 1:5 RN-to-patient ratio, plus opportunities for charge nurse and preceptor roles and ongoing education scholarships. This full-time/part-time position includes day/night shifts with differential pay, sign-on for eligible new hires, certification pay, and a strong supportive culture focused on patient-centered

Qualifications

• Must hold current RN licensure in the state of practice.
• 1+ year RN experience.
• Current BLS certification through AHA or Red Cross.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient-centered nursing care on Medical/Surgical units.
• Collaborate with unit educators and care teams to support orientation and ongoing education.

About Our Medical/Surgical Units

• Units 5 & 6 are dynamic 42-bed surgical units where you'll have the chance to enhance your clinical skills while caring for a diverse patient population
• Typical RN-to-patient ratio: 1:5
• Typical CNA-to-patient ratio: 1:8

• Full Time or Part Time days or nights (7:00a-7:30p/7:00p-7:30a) with night/weekend differential pay
• Additional PTO hours for night shift

• Certification pay for national certifications (e.g., CMSRN, ONC)

Qualifications

• Education: Associate's or Bachelor's Nursing Degree
• Experience: 1+ years of RN experience
• Licenses/Certifications: Current RN licensure from the State of Practice and Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Certified through American Heart Association or American Red Cross
