Job summary

St. Luke’s is seeking an RN to join the Clinical Support Unit as a float nurse. The role covers Medical, Surgical, and Peds within Med-Surg/Peds service lines, with shifts on nights and cross-location assignments across Boise, Meridian, and Nampa.

You will self-schedule and support operational needs while expanding clinical skills. This position offers growth through tuition and certification reimbursement, professional training, and a voice in governance.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate's or Bachelor's Nursing Degree.
• Experience: 1 year RN experience; prefer Med/Surg and/or Peds.
• Licenses/Certifications: Current RN licensure; BLS certification per AHA or Red Cross.
• Valid driver's license and proof of auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Support three units in Med-Surg/Peds: Medical, Surgical, and Peds.
• Float between Boise, Meridian, and Nampa locations (three sites).
• Self-scheduling based on day-to-day operational needs.
• Provide care during night shifts (7:00p–7:30a).

The Clinical Support Unit (CSU) is a dynamic department that provides a high quality float experience to the departments and patients we serve. This requires nurses that are energetic, flexible and willing to support the mission of the organization.

What You Can Expect:

• Full Time or Part Time nights (7:00p-7:30a)
• You will support three units/skill sets within Med-Surg/Peds service line: Medical, Surgical, and Peds; may be open to other skill sets listed below
• The excitement of inter-facility floating between three locations: (Boise, Meridian, and Nampa)or (Boise, Meridian, St. Luke's Elmore located in Mountain Home)
• Self-scheduling (unit & location will be assigned based on day of operational needs)
• 10% differential - once orientation concludes

Qualifications:

• Education: Associate's or Bachelor's Nursing Degree
• Experience: 1 year of RN experience; prefer Med/Surg and/or Peds experience
• Licenses/Certifications: Current RN licensure from the State of Practice; current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Provider certified through American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Valid driver's license and proof of auto insurance required
