BayCare's Winter Haven Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Medical/Surgical unit on day shift. The RN will provide patient-centered care, collaborate with an inter-disciplinary team, and ensure high standards of clinical practice in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Position Description: RN

The Registered Nurse works in a hospital setting and independently cares for a group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards. Delegates appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team. The Registered Nurse is also responsible for professional accountability and development.

• The registered nurse collaborates and communicates with inter-disciplinary care providers in developing and assisting in plan of care
• Organizes and prioritizes and updates plan of care in collaboration with patient, family, and significant others in a medical/surgical unit
• Identifies patients at risk for injury regarding diagnosis, medication, procedure, age, etc., and prepares room environment.
