BayCare Health System is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Medical/Surgical Cardiac team at Winter Haven Hospital for day shifts. The RN provides direct patient care, collaborates with the care team, and supports professional accountability and development.

This role requires an active RN license and BLS, with an Associate Degree in Nursing. The position is part-time at Winter Haven, with a 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM shift in the Med/Surg Cardiac Unit I-WHH.

Position Description: RN

The Registered Nurse works in a hospital setting and independently cares for a group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards. Delegates appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team. The Registered Nurse is also responsible for professional accountability and development.

• The registered nurse collaborates and communicates with inter-disciplinary care providers in developing and assisting in plan of care
• Organizes and prioritizes and updates plan of care in collaboration with patient, family, and significant others in a medical/surgical unit
• Identifies patients at risk for injury regarding diagnosis, medication, procedure, age, etc., and prepares room environment.
