Job summary

Ascension Health is seeking a Nurse Manager to lead operations across assigned nursing units at Dell Children’s Medical Center North in Austin, TX. The role focuses on efficient patient care delivery, staffing, and adherence to safety and quality standards.

The position requires a Texas RN license, a BSN, and 3 years of nursing experience including at least 1 year in leadership. You will oversee budgets and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve outcomes.

Qualifications

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

  • Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing is required.

Work Experience:

  • 3 years of experience required.
  • 1 year of leadership or management experience required.

Additional Preferences

  • 3 plus years OR, PACU, Periop RN leadership experience.
