Job summary

Ascension in Milwaukee, WI is seeking a Labor and Delivery RN to implement and monitor patient care plans, coordinate multidisciplinary care, and document orders. This full-time night shift role requires collaboration with physicians and nurses to ensure safe discharge planning.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Licensure from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing OR current home state license if considered multi-state/Compact State.

Education

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.

Additional Preferences

• 7pm-0730am, every third weekend, rotating holidays, and on call required
• Prior Mom/Baby, Postpartum or Labor & Delivery experience highly preferred.
