Ascension Milwaukee's NICU team seeks a dedicated Registered Nurse to join on a PRN schedule in Milwaukee, WI. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high‑quality neonatal care.

You will implement and monitor patient care plans, coordinate discharge planning with the healthcare team, and ensure orders are carried out in partnership with physicians and nursing staff. BLS and WI RN licensure are required; NICU certs preferred.

Qualifications

• BLS certification within 1 month of hire.
• Registered Nurse licensed by Wisconsin Board of Nursing.
• NICU experience and/or STABLE/Neonatal Resuscitation preferred.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Licensure from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing OR current home state license if considered multi-state/Compact State.
• Certification specializing in The S.T.A.B.L.E Program preferred.
• Certification specializing in Neonatal Resuscitation credentialed from the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) preferred.

Education

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire required.

Additional Preferences

• Bachelors in Nursing and at least 1 year of Level 3 NICU experience highly preferred.
