Job summary

St. Luke’s Nampa Medical Center in Idaho seeks an Intensive Care RN to join a dedicated team on a 10-bed unit delivering life-saving care including septic shock and cardiac arrest, with a 1:2 nurse-patient ratio. The role emphasizes professionalism, teamwork, and patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate degree required, Bachelor of Nursing Degree preferred.
• Experience: 1+ year RN Experience; highly preferred in ICU.
• Licenses/Certifications: Current RN licensure and BLS Provider Certification (AHA/Red Cross).

Responsibilities

• Provide critical care for ICU patients in a 10-bed unit.
• Maintain a 1:2 nurse-patient ratio in a team-based model.
• Support ongoing education scholarships and certifications.
• Night shift part-time (0.45 FTE) with appropriate shift coverage.

What you can expect from this role

• 10 Bed Unit that delivers life saving care for diagnosis including Septic Shock, Cardiac Arrest, Respiratory Failure, Multi-Organ Failure, DKA, and AMS
• Team-based nursing model (1:2 ratio)
• Specialty Classes including: CRRT, ACLS, EKG, ECCO, Rapid Response Training
• Continuing education scholarships - including conferences, certification, licensure
• Certification pay available
• Additional PTO for night shift offered

Qualifications

• Education: Associate degree required, Bachelor of Nursing Degree preferred
• Experience: 1+ year RN Experience; highly preferred in ICU
• Licenses/Certifications:Current RN licensure from the State of Practice and Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Certified through American Heart Association or American Red Cross

• Specialty Classes including: CRRT, ACLS, EKG, ECCO, Rapid Response Training
• Continuing education scholarships - including conferences, certification, licensure
• Part-time (0.45 FTE) night shift; 3 shifts per pay period (2 weeks)
• Certification pay available
• Additional PTO for night shift offered
