Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred; Required for Internal Float Pool, Registry Nursing Services, & Agency RNs.
• Diploma in Nursing; Graduate from an accredited school of Nursing.
• Licensed Registered Nurse in the State of Texas.
• Basic Life Support from an American Heart Association (AHA) or Red Cross approved program.
• One year full-time RN experience or completion of GN Program.
• Two years in the specialty area for Registry NCIs and Agency RNs.
• Bilingual Skills preferred.
• Strong communication and PC skills.

Responsibilities

• Independently and safely manage patients in assigned unit.
• Float within a Service, across multiple Services and pavilions as needed.
• Recognize when assistance is needed and seek resources.
• Collaborate with team to ensure quality patient care.
