Job summary

Harris Health seeks a Nurse Clinician II (NCII) to provide competent nursing care across units, following Texas Nursing Practice Act standards. The NCII may float within the internal pool and across pavilions, delivering quality patient care with professional practice and collaboration.

The position requires a BSN preferred or a nursing diploma, RN licensure in Texas, and BLS certification, with 1 year RN experience or GN program completion. Weekend/holiday shifts are possible.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred; required for Internal Float Pool/Agency RNs.
• Texas RN licensure required; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• 1 year full-time RN experience or GN program completion; bilingual skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Independently and safely manages patients in assigned units per nursing standards.
• Float pool RNs work across multiple services/pavilions as needed.
