Job summary

Qualifications

• RN license in Texas.
• BSN preferred; Diploma in Nursing accepted.
• AHA/Red Cross BLS required.
• One year RN experience or GN program completed.
• Two years of experience for Registry/Agency NCs; bilingual skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage patients in assigned units.
• Float across units/pavilions as needed by Internal Float Pool.
• Adhere to Texas Nursing Practice Act, Nursing Service standards and unit protocols.
