Job summary

Qualifications

• BSN preferred; Required for Internal Float Pool, Registry Nursing Services, & Agency RNs
• Diploma in Nursing; Graduate from an accredited school of Nursing
• Licensure as a Registered Nurse in Texas and BLS certification

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in accordance with the Texas Nursing Practice Act and HCHD standards
• Independently manage common patient problems in the assigned clinical area
• Float across units within the department and across pavilions as needed
