Job summary

Ascension is seeking an ICU Nurse Staffing professional to support a rotating PRN schedule across the Austin metro area. The role involves floating between locations, delivering direct patient care, and coordinating care with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing or required professional licensure at time of hire.
• Minimum of two years of recent acute care ICU nursing experience demonstrating clinical competency across diverse, high-acuity patient populations.
• Proven ability to navigate and provide autonomous direct care in a multi-unit, float, or resource team environment.

• Communicate and meticulously record all patient conditions, observations, and interventions to ensure a seamless, well-coordinated care plan.

• Location: Will float across various locations in the Austin, TX Metro area


• Department: ICU Nurse Staffing


• Schedule: Rotating l PRN


• Pay: $60 per hour

Licensure / Certification / Registration

  • Certified BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
