Job summary

Ascension St. Vincent's St. Johns Hospital is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse for night shifts (PRN) in St. Johns, FL. You will deliver high-quality patient care, coordinate multidisciplinary teams, and execute orders with precision to support optimal patient outcomes.

Required are a Florida RN license and BLS; ACLS preferred. A nursing diploma is required. We offer a 403(b) retirement plan and employee assistance resources to support staff well-being.

Qualifications

• BLS certification required within 1 month of hire.
• Licensed Registered Nurse in Florida, active/clicable via State Board or multi-state compact.
• ACLS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute physician and nursing orders with precision, serving as a critical link in the clinical decision-making process.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration

• Required Credential(s):
• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Florida Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Licensed as a Registered Nurse in Florida. Credentialed from State Board of Nursing or current home state license for multi-state license recognition "Compact State" obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

Preferred Credential(s)

• Advanced Life Support. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required. OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
