Ascension is seeking a Night Shift, Full-time RN to provide inpatient postoperative care for highly acute head and neck cancer patients at Ascension St. Vincent in Indianapolis. You will work in a specialized surgical oncology setting, gaining growth through a mentoring environment focused on skilled patient care.

How you'll make an impact in this role

• You will provide inpatient care after surgery for highly acute Head and Neck cancer patients such as: Thyroidectomy, Parathyroidectomy, Neck dissection, Oral resections, Glossectomy, Mandibulectomy, Maxillectomy, Reconstruction Flaps, Laryngectomy, and Tracheostomy.
• You will gain professional growth and development in a mentoring environment that's focused on highly specialized surgical oncology care.

What Minimum Requirements You'll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
