Job summary

Ascension in Indianapolis, IN is seeking an experienced registered nurse to support the main operating room. The role focuses on scrub and circulating functions, assisting surgeons, and preparing the OR with instruments and supplies for procedures.

Minimum requirements include an Indiana RN license and OR experience. ACLS or BLS certifications are required within specified timelines, with a nursing diploma or equivalent. Weekend option schedule noted in department details.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• One or more of the following required:
• Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR required professional licensure at time of hire.
