Job summary

Westland A Villa Center is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join their team, assuming responsibility for a group of residents per shift. Care is provided through assessment, planning, and evaluation of the care plan.

Responsibilities include administering medications, transcribing physician orders, supervising CNAs, and maintaining safe, sanitary environments. A valid RN license and CPR are required; 1 year of experience is preferred, with LTC experience favored.

Qualifications

• Current CPR Certification required.
• Nursing Degree or diploma from an accredited college or university.
• Possess a current license to practice in the State as a Registered Nurse.
• 1 year of experience preferred.
• Long-Term care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides licensed care to assigned residents as ordered by physician and in accordance with facility standards.
• Directs and supervises CNAs to ensure care is rendered per standards.
• Administers medications and performs treatments as ordered by physician.
• Charts nurses notes reflecting care provided and resident response.
• Assists with admitting, transfers and discharges to meet resident needs.
