Job summary

Villa at Green Lake Estates is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join their care team in Michigan. The RN provides licensed nursing care to residents, implements plans of care, and collaborates with physicians and staff to ensure high-quality outcomes.

Responsibilities include administering medications, recording care notes, supervising CNAs, monitoring vital signs, and ensuring safety and compliance with regulations. Current CPR and an active RN license are required.

Qualifications

• Current CPR Certification required.
• Nursing degree or diploma from an accredited college or university.
• Possess a current license to practice in the state as a Registered Nurse.
• 1 year of experience preferred.
• Long-Term care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides licensed care to assigned residents as ordered by physician and in accordance with facility standards.
• Provides and receives nursing reports on shift changes.
• Maintains cleanliness and sanitation in nurse station and care areas.
• Directs and supervises CNAs to ensure compliant care.
• Takes and records vital signs, administers IV therapy as ordered, and provides respiratory care.
• Transcribes physician orders and documents care plans and MAR.
• Prepares and administers medications and performs treatments as ordered.
• Charts nurse notes reflecting care provided and resident response.
• Counts controlled drugs with another nurse and reports discrepancies.
• Ensures a safe resident environment and addresses hazards.
• Admits, transfers, or discharges residents as needed.
