Description

Short term / sub-acute facility with a beautiful setting in North Salem, featuring a 5 Star Rated facility in Westchester County. Waterview Hills Campus includes Waterview Hills and Salem Hills Rehabilitation & Healthcare, dedicated to providing outstanding subacute rehab and long-term skilled nursing care.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process in resident care, administer medications and treatments, and document appropriately.
• Report observations and assessments to the charge nurse, supervisor, or manager.
• Demonstrate knowledge of test/lab values, deliver care in accordance with policies, procedures, and resident rights.
• Respond promptly to patient concerns and needs.
• Ensure effective communication with residents, families, and staff.
• Prepare resident assignments based on needs and staff competencies, monitor activity flow, and ensure documentation is complete.
• Maintain punctuality and proper notification for absences.

Requirements

• Graduate of an approved nursing school.
• Licensed and registered in good standing in New York State as an RN.
• Experience with geriatric patients is preferred but not required.
• Sincere desire to work with elderly, chronically ill, and disabled.
• Knowledge of medical, social, psychological needs, infection prevention, and nursing theory.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Covid-19 vaccinations encouraged but not mandated.
