Benefits & Responsibilities

• NEW RN RATES * 8 OR 12 HR SHIFTS NOW AVAILABLE * EXCELLENT BENEFITS *
• Full Time, Part Time, Per Diem (8 or 12 hour shifts)
• Baylor Double Weekend Program - Work 4 shifts get paid for 5!
• Utilize nursing process in care of residents, administer medications & treatments, document appropriately
• Report findings and observations to charge nurse or supervisor
• Demonstrate knowledge of test/lab values and deliver direct resident care
• Identify/respond to patient concerns/needs promptly
• Ensure effective interpersonal communication for quality patient care
• Prepare resident assignments based on needs and staff competency, monitor activity flow, and document care provided
• Maintain punctuality and proper notification for lateness or absenteeism

Requirements

• Graduate of an approved school of nursing
• Licensed & registered in good standing in New York State as an RN
• Experience with geriatric patients is desirable but not required. New grads welcome!
• Sincere desire to work with the elderly, chronically ill, & disabled
• Cooperative spirit and enthusiasm for rehabilitation & growth
• Knowledge of medical, social, & psychological needs, infection prevention principles
• Good verbal communication skills with residents, families, & staff
• Covid-19 vaccinations encouraged but NOT MANDATED
