Job summary

Ascension is seeking a night shift, part-time registered nurse to join the Freestanding ED - Navarre team at Ascension Sacred Heart Pensacola. You will implement and monitor patient care plans and coordinate care across disciplines to ensure well-coordinated patient care.

The role requires Florida RN licensure (compact state), ALS within 6 months of hire, and BLS within 1 month of hire, with the ability to discharge planning and execute physician/nursing orders. Training and support are provided.

Qualifications

• Advanced Life Support certification within 6 months of hire date
• BLS Provider certification within 1 month of hire date
• Licensed Registered Nurse in Florida with compact license recognition prior to hire

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date require. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Florida Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Licensed as a Registered Nurse in Florida required. Credentialed from State Board of Nursing or current home state license for multi-state license recognition "Compact State" obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education:

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire required.
