Job summary

St. Luke’s Health System is seeking a registered nurse to join our Clinical Support Unit float pool in Idaho. You will rotate between Med/Surg, Telemetry and ED across Zone 1 Boise/ Meridian/Nampa and Zone 2 Mountain Home/St. Luke’s Elmore in Mountain Home, with self-scheduling and night or day shifts.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate's or Bachelor's Nursing Degree.
• Experience: 1 year of RN experience; prefer Med/Surg, Tele or ED.
• Licenses: Current RN licensure; BLS Certification.
• Valid driver's license and proof of auto insurance required.

Responsibilities

• Float between Medical, Surgical and Telemetry or Emergency Room within the Med-Surg service line.
• Support three units/skill sets; self-scheduling; rotations based on operational needs.
• Work nights (7:00p-7:30a) in Zone 1 or days (7:00a-7:30p) in Zone 2; 10% differential after orientation.

The Clinical Support Unit (CSU) is a dynamic department that provides a high quality float experience to the departments and patients we serve. This requires nurses that are energetic, flexible and willing to support the mission of the organization.

What You Can Expect:

• Full Time or Part Time nights (7:00p-7:30a) for Zone 1: Boise, Meridian, Nampa
• Full time or Part Time days (7:00a-7:30p) for Zone 2: Boise, Meridian, St. Luke's Elmore in Mountain Home)
• You will support three units/skill sets within the Med-Surg service line: Medical, Surgical and Telemetry or Emergency Room; may be open to other skill sets listed below
• The excitement of inter-facility floating between three locations
• Self-scheduling (unit & location will be assigned based on day of operational needs)
• 10% differential - once orientation concludes

Qualifications:

• Education: Associate's or Bachelor's Nursing Degree
• Experience: 1 year of RN experience; prefer Med/Surg, Tele or ED experience
• Licenses/Certifications: Current RN licensure from the State of Practice; current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Provider certified through American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Valid driver's license and proof of auto insurance required
