Job summary

PAM Health Specialty Hospital of Tulsa is seeking an Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver and supervise patient care on the nursing unit. The RN will use the nursing process, coordinate interdisciplinary planning, discharge planning, and teach patients and families post-hospitalization.

ACLS certification is required within 90 days and BLS is mandatory. Charge Nurse duties may be assigned; ACLS is required for Charge Nurses, and organizational leadership supports growth and development for nursing

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure in the state where the hospital resides or compact licensure.
• BLS certification is required.
• ACLS certification is required within 90 days of employment.
• ACLS must be AHA approved within 90 days of employment.
• ACLS certification is required for Charge Nurses.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process while delivering, directing and supervising care to patients admitted to the nursing unit.
• Plan, coordinate and provide patient care including interdisciplinary planning and discharge planning.
• Provide patient and family teaching for post-hospitalization and access community resources.
• May perform other duties as assigned, including serving as Charge Nurse when required.
