Job summary

PAM Health in New York seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver and coordinate patient care on our medical-surgical unit under the direction of nursing leadership. You will engage in interdisciplinary planning, discharge teaching, and community resource access, with ACLS possible for Charge Nurses.

We require current RN licensure in-state or compact, BLS certification, and ACLS within 90 days of employment. One year of inpatient med-surg experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure in the state where PAM Health resides or a compact license
• Current BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required within 90 days of employment (AHA approved)
• ACLS certification required for Charge Nurses

Responsibilities

• Deliver, direct and supervise care to patients admitted to the nursing unit
• Plan, coordinate and provide patient care including interdisciplinary planning and discharge planning
• Educate patients and families for post-hospitalization and accessing community resources
• Support Charge Nurse duties as assigned
