Job summary

PAM Health is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to provide and oversee patient care on our medical-surgical unit, under the direction of nursing leadership. The RN will utilize the nursing process to plan, coordinate, and deliver care to patients admitted to the unit.

The role emphasizes discharge planning, interdisciplinary collaboration, and patient/family teaching for post-hospital care. ACLS is required for Charge Nurses and ICU roles; opportunities for growth and advancement are

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of practice.
• Current BLS certification.
• ACLS certification preferred and required after 90 days; ACLS required from day 1 for Charge Nurses, High Obs, ICU.

Responsibilities

• Deliver, direct and supervise patient care on the nursing unit.
• Coordinate interdisciplinary planning and discharge planning; provide patient/family teaching.
• Participate in or lead shifts as assigned, with ACLS responsibilities for designated roles.
