Job summary

BayCare Health System in Clearwater, FL is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for our ER department. This full-time, in-person role covers a 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM shift with every other weekend requirement, at Morton Plant Hospital, 300 Pinellas St.

You will provide compassionate, high-quality patient care in a fast-paced hospital setting and collaborate with the care team to deliver safe, timely treatment.

Qualifications

• RN License required.
• Nursing degree (Diploma/Associate/Bachelor) or higher.
• 1 year ER nursing experience required.
• BLS, ACLS and PALS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Works in a hospital setting and independently cares for a group of patients using the nursing process and clinical standards.
• Delegates appropriate patient care activities to other health care team members.
• Organizes and prioritizes and updates plan of care in collaboration with patients, family and significant others.
• Identifies patients at risk for injury and prepares room environment.
• Monitors, records, and updates care team on patient vitals and assessments.
• Responds to medical emergencies for critical patients.
• Maintains professional accountability and development.

Requirements

• RN (Registered Nurse) License
• Diploma, Associate's, Bachelor's or Higher in Nursing
• 1-year registered nurse ER experience
• BLS certification with the American Red Cross or American Heart Association
• ACLS certification with the American Heart Association
• PALS certification with the American Heart Association
