Job summary

Ascension is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join the Emergency Department in North Vernon, IN at ASV Jennings. This full-time night-shift role involves coordinating patient care and implementing care plans with the healthcare team.

Minimum qualifications include Indiana RN licensure, BLS, ALS and PALS within required timeframes. Diploma or licensure at hire is required; comprehensive health benefits and professional development are provided.

Qualifications

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 month of hire date; American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• RN credentialed from Indiana Board of Nursing prior to hire date.
• Advanced Life Support (ALS) obtained within 6 months of hire date; employer accepts AHA/Red Cross.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) obtained prior to hire date; AHA/Red Cross accepted.

• Serve as primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• One or more of the following required:
• Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education:

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
