Ascension St. Vincent in Central Indiana offers a Nurse Residency program beginning January 2027, with options for days or nights, and full-time or part-time schedules.

You will join diverse units as part of a structured cohort, supported by mentors and educators to grow into a professional nurse.

Qualifications

• BLS within 1 month of hire date
• RN credentialed from Indiana Board of Nursing within 4 months of hire date
• Enrolled in or completion of nursing program
• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing within 6 months hire

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with mentors and educators to evolve from student mindset into a high-functioning professional nurse.
• Completes structured learning requirements including simulations and skills labs to transition into a professional role.

What minimum requirements you'll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing obtained within 4 Months (120 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.

Education:

• Enrolled in or completion of Nursing program required.

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required within 6 months hire.
