Mercy is seeking a registered nurse to provide patient care using the nursing process, coordinate care across departments, and uphold patient rights and confidentiality. Education must include an RN license and nursing education credentials; certifications such as BLS and advanced life support may be required depending on unit.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a school of nursing (AD, Diploma, or BSN).
• Maintain an active RN license in the hiring state/compact.
• Current BLS certification or within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS/NRP/ENPC/TNCC/CPHON/OCN or other unit-specific certifications may be required.
• Strong patient-care and collaboration with care teams.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Evaluates care effectiveness and coordinates with other departments.
• Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of information.
