Job summary

Mercy is seeking a qualified registered nurse to deliver patient care using the nursing process and uphold Mercy standards of care. The role involves coordinating patient care with other departments, ensuring patient rights and confidentiality, and maintaining professional accountability for the care provided to assigned patients.

Responsibilities include evaluating care effectiveness, collaborating with direct care givers, and performing duties consistent with Mercy's mission and values.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a school of nursing (AD, Diploma, or BSN)
• Current RN license in the hiring state or compact licensure
• BLS certification or completion within 30 days of hire
• ACLS/NRP/ENPC/trauma certs may be required based on unit or acquisition within department timeframe
• Other unit-specific certifications as required

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care. Maintains accountability for care for assigned patients.
• Evaluates the effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers.
• Coordinates patient care with other departments while maintaining patient rights and confidentiality.
