Qualifications

• RN license in the hiring state or compact licensure
• Graduated from a school of nursing (AD, Diploma, or BSN)
• BLS certification required or completed within 30 days of hire
• One or more of ACLS/NRP/ENPC/TNCC/CPHON/OCN/PALS/PEARS/ST.A.B.L.E./C-EFM may be required based on position/unit
• Meet state board requirements for nursing practice

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for assigned patients.
• Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers.
• Coordinates patient care in conjunction with other departments.
• Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.
