Job summary

Mercy is seeking an RN to provide comprehensive patient care using the nursing process. You will evaluate care effectiveness, coordinate with other departments, and uphold patient rights and confidentiality in alignment with Mercy Service Standards.

Qualifications

• RN license in the hiring state or compact licensure are required.
• Graduate from an accredited nursing program (AD, Diploma, or BSN).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and, if required by unit, one or more advanced certifications (ACLS, NRP, ENPC, TNCC, CPHON, OCN, PALS, PEARS, STABLE, C-EFM).
• Must meet all state board of nursing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct caregivers.
• Coordinates patient care in conjunction with other departments.
• Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.
• Performs duties in alignment with Mercy Service Standards and mission.
