Job summary

Ascension Saint Agnes Hospital in Baltimore, MD seeks an experienced RN for Emergency Department. Evening-Shift, Full-Time with a $15,000 sign-on bonus. You will coordinate care across disciplines and ensure seamless, high-acuity patient experiences with precise bedside care and discharge planning.

Requires Maryland RN license and BLS/ACLS within specified windows. Two or more years in ED are preferred. Schedule includes 3:00pm-3:00am with weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Maryland Board of Nursing.
• Two or more of the following: ACLS within 6 months, BLS within 30 days, PAEDS ALS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate care across clinical disciplines to ensure seamless, high-acuity patient experiences.
• Implement and monitor personalized care plans with timely condition-based actions.
• Accurately carry out physician and nurse orders for high-quality bedside care.
• Collaborate on discharge planning to support patients after leaving the unit.

How you’ll make an impact in this role

• Lead the care journey by serving as the primary coordinator for all clinical disciplines, ensuring every patient receives a seamless and well-integrated experience in a high-acuity environment.

• Empower patient recovery by implementing and meticulously monitoring personalized care plans, acting decisively on changes in condition to ensure safety and clinical excellence.

• Execute clinical precision by accurately carrying out physician and nursing orders, translating complex medical plans into direct, high-quality bedside care.

• Bridge the transition to home by collaborating with the multidisciplinary team to assess and coordinate discharge needs, ensuring patients are supported long after they leave the unit.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Maryland Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required

• One or more of the following required: Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

• Pediatric Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education:

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.

Additional Preferences:

• Proven Clinical Experience: A minimum of 2+ years of Emergency Department specific experience.

• Schedule: 3:00pm-3:00am | Weekend and Holiday rotation.
