Job summary

Endeavor Health Cancer Center in Plainfield, IL is seeking a Registered Nurse specializing in oncology to provide compassionate, safe care on a dedicated unit. The role involves planning and evaluating patient care using the nursing process, with collaboration across the healthcare team.

Position: Registered Nurse, Oncology

Location: Endeavor Health Cancer Center - Plainfield, IL

Type: Full Time | 40 hours/week

Hours: Monday - Friday, 8am - 4:30pm, no weekends or holidays

Key Responsibilities

• Provide safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care for oncology patients within a specific unit
• Utilize the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans
• Supervise and guide unlicensed assistive personnel in delivering interdisciplinary care
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care
• Contribute to safety initiatives and promote high-quality patient experiences

Qualifications & Skills

• Current Illinois Registered Nurse licensure (required)
• Associate's degree in Nursing (required); Bachelor's preferred
• Current CPR certification (required); OCN/ONS certification (preferred)
• Minimum 1 year of experience in Oncology Outpatient Infusion or related fields such as ED, ICU, PACU (highly preferred if no oncology experience)
