Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Registered Nurse in Oncology for the Plainfield, IL cancer center. This full-time role provides 40 hours per week with 8:00 am–4:30 pm shifts, weekdays only, in a dedicated infusion setting.

Qualifications

• Current State of Illinois RN licensure.
• Associate's degree in Nursing is required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Current CPR certification; OCN/ONS provider card preferred.
• Minimum 1 year Oncology Outpatient Infusion Center experience; ED/ICU/PACU acceptable if no oncology experience.

Responsibilities

• Independently provide safe, effective nursing care on a dedicated unit.
• Use the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate the patient plan of care.
• Guide and direct unlicensed assistive personnel in delivering interdisciplinary patient care.
• Communicate and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care.
• Positively contributing to safety outcomes and promoting high quality patient experience.

Hourly Pay Range

$36.00 - $55.80 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

What You Will Do

• Independently provide safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care for a patient population on a specific unit
• Utilize the nursing process in planning, implementing, and evaluating the patient plan of care
• Guide and direct assigned unlicensed assistive personnel in delivering interdisciplinary patient care
• Communicate and collaborate with members of the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care
• Positively contributing to safety outcomes and promoting high quality patient experience

What You Will Need

• Licensure: Current State of Illinois Registered Nurse licensure, required.
• Education: Associate's in Nursing, required. Bachelor's in Nursing, strongly preferred.
• Certification: Current CPR Certification issued by either American Heart Association, required. OCN/ONS provider card preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of 1 year of Oncology Outpatient Infusion Center experience required; If no oncology experience, ED, ICU, PACU experience highly preferred.
