Job summary

Endeavor Health in Plainfield, IL is seeking a Registered Nurse, Oncology, to join our oncology infusion team. This full-time role offers 40 hours per week with a Monday–Friday schedule from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., no weekends or holidays.

You will provide safe, effective nursing care, use the nursing process to plan and evaluate patient care, and collaborate with the healthcare team to achieve optimal outcomes and a positive patient experience.

Qualifications

• Current State of Illinois RN licensure is required.
• Associate's in Nursing is required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• CPR certification is required; OCN/ONS preferred.
• Minimum 1 year Oncology Outpatient Infusion Center experience required; ED/ICU/PACU experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, effective nursing care for patients on a specific unit.
• Utilize the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate care.
• Guide and direct assigned unlicensed assistive personnel in delivering care.
• Communicate with healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care.

Hourly Pay Range: $36.00 - $55.80 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position Highlights:

• Position: Registered Nurse, Oncology

• Location: Endeavor Health Cancer Center - Plainfield, IL

• Full Time | 40 hours/week

• Hours: Monday - Friday: 8am - 4:30pm, no weekends or holidays.

What you will do:

• Independently provide safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care for a patient population on a specific unit

• Utilize the nursing process in planning, implementing, and evaluating the patient plan of care

• Guide and direct assigned unlicensed assistive personnel in delivering interdisciplinary patient care

• Communicate and collaborate with members of the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care

• Positively contributing to safety outcomes and promoting high quality patient experience

What you will need:

• Licensure: Current State of Illinois Registered Nurse licensure, required.

• Education: Associate's in Nursing, required. Bachelor's in Nursing, strongly preferred

• Certification: Current CPR Certification issued by either American Heart Association, required. OCN/ONS provider card preferred.

• Experience: Minimum of 1 year of Oncology Outpatient Infusion Center experience required; If no oncology experience, ED, ICU, PACU experience highly preferred.
