Job summary

Endeavor Health seeks a Registered Nurse for our Infusion Clinic to deliver safe, compassionate oncology infusion care and conduct comprehensive patient assessments. You will collaborate with the healthcare team to plan care, educate patients and families, and improve outcomes.

The role requires an Illinois RN license, a Bachelor’s degree, CPR/BLS, and oncology infusion experience or willingness to obtain OCN/ONS certification. On-site infusion clinic with strong performance improvement culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing and active Illinois RN license.
• Current BLS/CPR certification required.
• Oncology/infusion experience preferred or willingness to obtain OCN/ONS.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe oncology infusion nursing care and patient assessments.
• Develop and evaluate care plans and document health data.

• Assist with injections, venipuncture, and IV management; support wound care.

Role Overview

Provide safe, compassionate oncology infusion nursing care, including patient assessments, care planning, education, and collaboration with healthcare teams to ensure optimal outcomes. Deliver personalized care, communicate effectively with patients and families, and participate in performance improvement and professional development activities. Assist with technical procedures like injections, venipuncture, and IV management, and support wound/ostomy/skin care when skilled.

Responsibilities

Develop and evaluate care plans, assess patient progress, document health data, provide disease management education, identify community resources, and contribute to team education. Nurture a compassionate environment, assist with patient transport, and ensure compliance with regulations.

Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, current Illinois RN licensure, 1 year of RN experience (preferably in oncology/infusion), BLS/CPR certification, and OCN/ONS certification or willingness to obtain. Strong clinical judgment, communication, and interpersonal skills essential.
