Ascension Health in Austin, TX is seeking a CVOR RN to join Ascension Premier Staffing - CVOR Surgical Services. The role supports scrub and circulating functions, assists the operating physician, and ensures OR readiness. Schedule: Day shifts available, 36-40 hours per week.

Compensation aligns with a gross weekly rate up to $2,325. Minimum requirements include RN licensure, ACLS/BLS credentials and a nursing diploma.

Qualifikationen

• Must hold a current nursing diploma from an accredited program.
• RN license in the state of Texas (or compact state) at time of hire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

How you'll make an impact in this role

• Performs scrub functions including the selection and handling of instruments and supplies used during procedure.

• Performs circulating functions including monitoring, recording and communicating patient condition and managing overall nursing care of patient before, during and after procedure.

• Directly assists operating physician with surgical tasks including hemostasis, suturing and wound exposure as well as patient positioning.

• Prepares operating rooms and surgical instruments and equipment for use.

What minimum requirements you'll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration

• Required Credential(s):

• Certified Registered Nurse obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

• One or more of the following:

• Certified Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

• Certified BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required. OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
